Leaps and Airplanes
Thankfully the sky didn't drop as much wetness today as yesterday, and we could all enjoy the outdoors a little more. We started out with the rock-climbing wall, which many boys conquered with the greatest of ease. Following that, they tried their courage at the Leap of Faith (climbing to the top of a telephone pole, standing on a small platform, and leaping out to catch a trapeze bar).

The evening group was one we call "Airplane." It is a guided imagery exploring each individuals' values and shows the staff a lot of where each child's priorities are. It is a great way to get to know what is important to all, and the staff enjoy participating too!
Hi Christina,
ReplyDeleteA friendly suggestion - if you look at your post, you'll notice that the blue-on-green text is nearly impossible to read. You might want to try a color that's more friendly on the eyes!
Thanks for the tip! Way to keep me on my toes!!
